The condition will be even more difficult because the popularity of financial job makes many fresh graduates compete to get the best position on financial jobs. So what you can do to stay in a head of the crowd?
You can actually take the advantage from the financial problems to show your capability providing benefits to a company. For example, you can catch the attention of the manager of the company you are about to work or maybe have already been working at an email which describes your concern on the company problem and some ideas to solve it. You can add a note that the company will have a chance to get potential savings by hiring you as the employee or maybe giving you the opportunity to have a critical position.
You can also consider creating a business plan, or showing some slides of the recent projects you managed and many other ways to show your qualification. In this situation, only those who can show the quality will be able to win the competition and appreciated with huge amount of salary. As a result, be consistent and persistent with your target so you can provide positive impact to the company as well as to your career.
